Ask it anything
Start with a goal, a concern, or a product link. The designer turns the conversation into a practical room brief.
AI interior design, grounded in your room
ARterior combines whole-room scanning with an AI designer you can talk to. Ask what works, learn why something doesn’t, get better real-product recommendations, then see every idea at true scale.

The intelligence behind ARterior
AR shows you the result. The AI designer helps you reach it. It reasons across your room scan, taste, budget, and goals, then recommends real products and makes the “why” easy to understand.
I need more seating, but I don’t want to block the windows or make the room feel crowded.
I’d skip the 92-inch sectional. It narrows your main walkway to 24 inches and sits above the window line. A lower 78-inch sofa keeps the light open and gives you 36 inches of circulation.
Warm neutral upholstery · Within stated budget
Start with a goal, a concern, or a product link. The designer turns the conversation into a practical room brief.
It explains why a piece works, why another does not, and which constraint—scale, flow, style, or budget—is driving the answer.
Recommendations connect the design idea to furniture that is actually out there, so the result can move beyond a mood board.
The scan gives the AI spatial context: walls, openings, walkways, available area, and the relationships between pieces.
Coming next
In developmentThe next ARterior experience brings the designer into the AR session as a welcoming 3D person. Talk naturally, ask why, point out what feels wrong, and let it keep redesigning the space with real products while you move through the room.
The problem
A tape measure can tell you whether a sofa clears the wall. It cannot tell you whether it overwhelms the room. ARterior keeps the dimensions, layout, and look of the space in the decision.
“Seeing furniture in your own space changes your decision instantly.”
What we heard in early testingMake the decision with the room in view.
How it works
Scan
Move your iPhone around the space once. ARterior maps the walls, floor, openings, and available area—the context a product page cannot see.
Ask
Tell your AI designer how the room should feel, what is not working, what you want to spend, or simply ask whether a piece belongs. It keeps the whole space in the conversation.
Recommend
ARterior finds room-matched products and explains the tradeoffs: what clears the walkway, what overwhelms the wall, and what better fits your style, budget, and space.
Preview
Place the designer’s recommendation in the room and walk around it. Keep talking, compare alternatives, and refine the idea before anything arrives at your door.
What works today
The iPhone beta already combines whole-room understanding, design guidance, real-product recommendations, custom 3D furniture, and true-scale AR placement. The in-room 3D designer is the next step—not the beginning of the intelligence.
